29 Million Votes Later and ...

More than 29 million votes were cast after last night's two hours showcasing Season 7's Top 12 contenders. Tonight, one of them will be sent home. My prediction is for Ramiele.

Mr. Jim Carrey is a special guest tonight promoting some animated movie in which he apparently voices an elephant. Appropriately, he is dressed as such.

Right before introducing the Top 12's s Beatle medley, Ryan reveals that after all of the positive feedback from last night's Beatles' tribute, they are carrying the theme over to next week.

After a recap, Ryan asks four of the 12 contestants to stand as he reveals their fates.

Carly is safe. Michael is safe. Jason is safe. Syesha is in the bottom three and is asked to perform her song - knowing full well she could be the one going home tonight.

Another four are asked to stand and ... Chickezie is safe. Amanda is safe. David Cook is safe. Kristy Lee Cook asks for her microphone so she can go ahead and get her song over with. Ryan still makes her go through the torture and then let's her sing. Crap, another shot of Sanjaya. Take me to The Pavillion now! I'm not surprised she's in the bottom three but she shouldn't be going home tonight. Who will join Kristy Lee and Syesha?

In a lame attempt to milk an hour's worth of segments between commercials, Ryan takes viewers' calls.
Now, David Foster and Katharine McPhee perform ... this is stupid and a waste of my time when I could be writing my Toastmasters' speech for tomorrow. Upon reading the last sentence, the much-neglected husband says I could be paying more attention to him. Time for a disgusting kissy break ...

NEWS ALERT!!! I'm not going to tell you the commercial I just saw because I don't want anyone snatching up my seats!!!! BUT OH MY GOD!!!! IN AMARILLO!!! HOORAY!!! I ain't telling! But both men and women will be happy!!! Happy, happy happy!!! I'll break into my savings to go see this!!!

Archuletta gets a chance to redeem himself next week because he is safe. Hopefully he won't forget his words ever again. Brooke the Beautiful is safe and I'd like to think the husband and I had something to do with that.
So, is it Ramiele or David Hernandez going home? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!! RAMIELE IS SAFE????? What the felines??? (Yes, I censure myself!) So it's down to David H., Kristy Lee and Syesha.

The first one sent to safety (after the break) is ... Syesha. She's quickly followed by Kristy Lee and it's David Hernandez who is going home.
